March 14, 2009 will mark the Second Annual Soldier Ride Lone Star Challenge Bike Ride.

Join hundreds of people in a day of fun and celebration while helping to support our Nation's Wounded Veterans! Challenge yourself to bike 25 or 45 miles and raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project. Come out to meet, ride with and honor wounded veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Registration Fees: Pre registration $25, Day of $30.

Your event registration is very appreciated by the WWP and will go towards the myriad of programs supporting wounded veterans. 

If you would like to support WWP with donations beyond your registration you may use the online tools or paper forms. Anyone raising $500 or more will recieve a Soldier Ride cycling jersey like the ones given to the wounded warriors.

Friday, March 13

4-8 pm, packet pickup and registration at Bay Area Bicycles, 6020 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX

Saturday, March 14

7:30 am - 9:00 am, Parking and ride day of registration - Whataburger Field

9:30 am, Opening ceremony - Whataburger Field

10 am - 2 pm,  Lone Star State Challenge Corpus Christi ride

2 pm, Course sweep by SAG for last riders

11 am-3:30pm, Post ride food and beverages - Brewster Street Ice House

All riders must wear approved helmets and sign a waiver.

Route
