We invite you to be part of this important event that brings together wounded veterans, cyclists, families, volunteers, and people from all over South Texas. It is the second of what we hope will be many annual events in support of our nations wounded heroes. All funds raised go to support veterans programs of The Wounded Warrior Project.
Your event registration is very appreciated by the WWP and will go towards the myriad of programs supporting wounded veterans. If you would like to support WWP with donations beyond your registration you may use the online tools or paper forms. Anyone raising $500 or more will recieve a Soldier Ride cycling jersey like the ones given to the wounded warriors.
Special Guest Rider
Former Pro Cyclist Saul Raisin will attend this year's Lone Star Challenge ride.
Saul suffered a traumatic brain injury in a race leading up to his first Tour of Italy.
His story of recovery provides inspiration to the wounded warriors. For more information on Saul please see his website raisinhope.org.
